Jessika Miekeley (b. 1969, Berlin, DE) lives and works in St. Louis, MO. Miekeley works across mediums including photography and drawing, with painting remaining at the center of her practice. She studied at Goldsmiths College, London (MFA, 2002) and Hochschule der Künste, Berlin (MFA, 1999), and in 2000 was awarded a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) scholarship to Goldsmiths College, London. Her works have been presented at HAUNT, Berlin (2025); Sheldon Art Gallery, St. Louis (2009); Pulitzer Foundation, St. Louis (2007); Roebling Hall, NYC (2006); and Paco das Artes, São Paulo (2003).
